Food hunt??

if you got follow blog, i always upload some food pics on my blog.. haha but i'm not promoting food in my blog.. just to let you know where we can find some place to eat ... today my friends and I went to the Towering town to eat vegetarian, i believe most sabahan knows this place as it was quite popular in local.
At first i though that vegetarian food only consist of VEGETABLE. but today i was totally change my point of view as vegetarian food not only consist of VEGETABLE but there is also vegetarian meat where made from flour but it really taste like meat.. haha.. besides, there is also variety of choices in the restaurant as state in the menu, but you can also eat economic rice as there is a corner where u can find variety of food already cook for those who want to eat economic rice. the price there was not expensive but the meal worth it price as all in XL size... haha

this is what i ate in the restaurant, Tom Yam Curry Noodle + the Dong Gua Liang Cha..

^0^

it's already 12.51am when i write this post...and yet i still stay up night to do my QS (Quantitative Studies) pass year questions. haha.. it's because i really don't have time to finish or done it few days before because a lot of test waiting to sit for. hmm... On Monday, I sit for Quantitative Studies test 4 which is our last test to earn our coursework mark so that we able to sit for the final exam on September. On Tuesday, I sit for the Account test, where that is the only test we have in Account and it's also the test that decide whether we qualified for final exam or not .. Luckily i pass the test with 19/25, which i dint aspect to get that high as Account is my worst subject compare to the others cause I don't have the basic on doing accounting. At first i though that account is a very EASY and FUN subject. but the fact is that it is NOT EASY and NOT FUN either. it is damn hard for those who don't have any basic on doing accounting and really confusing. But i have try my bets to pass the coursework. Yesterday (Wednesday) we have a presentation in the Hubungan Etnik class. and it goes smoothly and everyone is doing their best to present out the findings for a week times. and today (Thursday) we have a mock exam on English Language class. The purpose of the mock exam is to know our strength and off course our weakness. Hope i can do well in the mock exam...
Today's English Language class was boring as usual, but the lecture was telling us a FACT in examination hall about the students. He was using few animals to describe the students. First is the ostrich. Student always sleep in the exam hall after finish reading the exam question and found out that they don't know how to answer. just like the ostrich, it will dig their head in the ground when they meet some difficulty or dangerous. Second is the owl. why owl?? because student tend to become 'CCTV' int he exam by scanning the surrounding by 360 degree. just like the owl will observe the surrounding at night to look for their food. third is the Wolf. the wolf is very well known by it cunning or tricky mind. Students will also become a wolf in the exam by trying to cheat on their exam. next is the elephant. Elephant has a very good memory and it can memorize a lot of things for a long period of time, but when they face obstacle , they do not know what to do and stuck there. Some students might have good memory skill as elephant. It is a good thing to have a god memorize skill but not like the elephant. When meet obstacle we must know how to overcome it not stuck there forever like some students will stuck in one question for a long time in the exam and it makes he/she don't have enough time to finish all the questions in the exam.Lastly is the Cow.the cow is the most hardworking animal but it dint get any rewards at last but become our food. Student always study very hard but at last they also dint get a good result like the cow. It is because they just study HARD but not study SMART. We should act as a PIG in the exam because PIG is the most intelligent animal among the others. the pig is the most luxurious animal as it does not had to work hard to get a food but the owner will automatically gave the pig foods. the pig's life is very simple yet luxury. It only need to eat and sleep, eat and sleep and lastly will also become our food like the cow. the different between the cow and the pig is that the cow need to work hard to get their food but the pig no need to work but they still can get their food. we should learn from the pig as it was the most intelligent animal here because it has a life that every one include the human being will dream about because no need to work too hard but be smart in daily life to get our own rewards.
*PIG is NOT STUPID but SMART*
we should also study SMART but not study HARD so that we wont be the ostrich, owl, wolf, elephant, and the cow.

it was 1:38am now.. time to sleep.. good night everyone..

Visit to Old Folks Home~150809

Today, i join a visitation to Old folks home, Holy Family Residents, at Papar together with the Students Welfare Committee(SWC) members. As early as 8:15a.m. i already arrive at school and have my breakfast at the Ming Ming Restaurant which locate just in front of the school. After that, we gather in front of the school and check for the attendance. After that, we wait for our head of branch as some of the student follow her car to our destination.round 9:20a.m, we depart from our school to the Holy Family Residents, papar. the journey took about forty minutes.

After arrive the old folks home, we go to the hall while waiting for the 'girls' there to bring out all the residents there to the hall. While the 'girls' busy call out the residents, I look for Sister Patricia, as i already know her since she ever work at my the Holy Family Church, Telipok where there is where i always go for the mass. After saw her standing outside the corridor, i walk to her and give her a gift(Angpau) from my mom to her, as she know my mom and chit chatting with her for awhile. After all the residents were in the hall, we start our visitation by chit chat around with the resident. At first, I don't dare to talk to the resident but after some chit chat with them,I found that actually they are very friendly, and treat us like their children. I was happy chatting with them. After that,we have our performance to them where we sing a very famous song in Sabah ~ sayang Kinabalu. After that, we sing a Happy Birthday song for them and has our cake cutting ceremony by the eldest resident there which already 101 years old.

After the cake cutting ceremony, we serve the food that we bring along to the residents while interact with them. The resident there are very friendly and love to share their story with us,. Most of them live there because their children has no time to take care of them, and some of their children are at oversea working and study and left them here alone. Some even dint saw their children for a long time. I feel sad when listen to their story and I even can see tears on their eyes and I also know how much they miss their family and their children outside there far from them.

After a long interaction with them, we say goodbye to them and shake each and every resident's hand to say goodbye and wish for their healthy. After that, we walk around the old folks home. We on our way home after saying goodbye to the person in charge and I off-course say goodbye to Sister Pat and the other sister there. I wsh to coming back here soon to visit them again.

when we arrive school from Papar, we sing a birthday song to our head of Branch as we already plan it earlier. But, before we sing it, our plan is spoil by one of the student where he first wish our head of branch HAPPY BIRTHDAY. But we still stick with our plan to sing a birthday song to Ms Chu. She thank us and wish us good luck in our study especially on our coming exam. Thanks Ms Chu for your wishes. we will do our best in the exam that coming soon.
